How do I book an appointment?
Booking is easy! You can request an appointment online using our web form, and our team will reach out to confirm your time. If you prefer to speak with us directly, just give our friendly reception team a call on 07 3063 1273.
Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Yes, we strongly recommend getting a valid referral from your GP, an emergency doctor, or another specialist. A referral is required for you to claim your Medicare benefits, and it also helps our team prioritise urgent medical needs so you can be seen as quickly as possible. If you do not have a valid referral or medicare card, then you can still make an appointment but will need to pay full private fees.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Please bring the following to your appointment:
- Your Medicare card and private health/DVA Gold card (if applicable)
- Your referral letter (unless your doctor has already sent it to us)
- Any relevant scans (e.g., X-rays, CT scans, ultrasounds)
- An up-to-date list of your current medications
- An EFTPOS card so we can process your instant Medicare rebate
How do payments and Medicare rebates work?
Payment is required prior to or at the time of your consultation. As long as you have a current referral, Medicare will offer a rebate for most of our services. We can process the medicare rebate for you at the time of your appointment. Either directly onto your EFTPOS card or into the bank account you have registered with Medicare.
Will my private health insurance cover my visit?
Private health insurance generally only covers inpatient hospital care. For standard outpatient clinic consultations, your private health fund will not cover the costs. If you are booked for a procedure, your coverage will depend on your specific policy and its exclusions. Is my medical information kept private?
We adhere to a strict confidentiality policy. Your medical file is accessed only by the healthcare professionals directly involved in your care and will never be released without your explicit, signed consent.
